The resurrection of Christ will be observed throughout the week by the Miracles In Action Faith Center, International, located at 645 West Arbor Vitae Street in Inglewood. The ministry, formerly known as Family Chris- tian Cathedral, began its celebration on April 15, with powerful preaching by Elder Gerald Harris, senior administrative as- sistant and Holy Convo- cation Coordinator for the California Northwest Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Inc. “We will continue our remembrance of Christ’s resurrection on Thursday, April 17, through Easter Resurrection Sunday, April 20,” said Dr. Jynona Norwood, senior pastor. “You are welcome to join us. We are go- ing to have a shouting, good time,” she added. On Thursday at 7:45 p.m., Dr. Norwood will conduct Holy Communion and an Old Fashioned Foot Washing Prophetic Service. Congregants are asked to bring their own towels. “The Last Seven Words of Christ will be present- ed on Friday, April 18, at 12 p.m, with preaching by seven anointed ministers. Also, we will serve a comlimentary sh fry dinner and gospel rap- per, Holy D, will per- form,” said Dr. Norwood. The Easter Resurrection Worship starts at 11:45 a.m., on April 20. Dr. Bar- bara Reynolds will bring the message. Dr. Reynolds is a founding editor of USA Today, Washing- ton Post columnist, and award- winning journalist. She has appeared on the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show,’ ‘Politically Incorrect,’ and ‘CNN and Co.’ Also, she was recently inducted into the Morehouse Col- lege Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers. In addition, Dr. Nor- wood will share free pho- tos depicting the miracle that occurred at her church. “Three weeks before Easter 2007, the revealed manifestation of Jesus appeared in our sanctuary. CBS, Geraldo, NBC, FOX, LA Sentinel and other media outlets re- ported this phenomenon,” recalled Pastor Norwood, who is a teacher, prophet, humanitarian an spokes- person for children lost to violence. She has also been honored in ‘Who’s Who Black Los Angeles’ for three consecutive years. “Dignitaries, civil rights leaders, celebri- ties, their families and the community pilgrim- aged to the church to wit- ness this great sight.” Dr. Norwood is a broad- caster as well. Her pro- gram appears on the Word Network on Mondays at 10 p.m., and on KTYM 1460 AM on Monday through Friday at 3:45 p.m. To learn more, call (855) 772-9748 or visit Proph- ecywithDrNorwood.com
